Fenders all the way. It sits nice as is. Rolling stock change and lose the 90's exhaust tips and it'll be a different car. Stealthy flat black alternator kind of hides between the radiator hoses. A polished aluminum one would really be a distraction against that Flatty.
Well it seems to be fenders, I as well think it would look good keeping them. I did finish installing the new carbs, fuel pump, fuel line, and regulator today. What a difference, I finally gave up on the 2 ....94,s I had and bought the new 97,s made by Speedway....bolted them on and did some small adjustments. They run great, I am smiling from ear to ear..I must say that was money well spent.
That's a Bitchin A you got there I like the fenders I wish I still had a set laying around to put on my A just to change it up.
If ya have to I'm sure you have a set of hubcaps laying around, that would even be an improvement lol
Got the new tires and wheels mounted on the front, seems that the rear 2 wheels have been back ordered but should be here early next week. I'm trying to get her ready for Turlock swap meet toward the end of the month.
Finally had the rear rims delivered. Went down today to get them mounted and balanced, on the way I had the muffler shop redo the tail pipes. The wife and I can't wait to take the car to Turlock.
Nothing but a REAL hot rod!!! Job well done sir. Keep fixing the safety stuff and slowly change the stuff u want to update and drive it!!! They gotta be driven!! Enjoy!! Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
So this morning I decided to put all new brakes up front. New rotors drilled for 5 on 4.5, calipers and pads. She should stop a whole lot better.
