I would like a recommendation for a short throw shifter for an 86 Mustang T-5 transmission. I am not going to be racing this. I am doing a conversion to a 47 Flathead Ford and the transmission I have is missing the shifter. Thanks in advance for the replies.

Hey Jim, Check out Kato Kings on this site, in fact he has an ad currently in the parts section. He makes shifters for Mustangs, Jeeps, GM T5 and the S10. I just got one for a project and it is a work of art, as good if not better than the known, major suppliers and $125. Good Luck

I am interested. How do you want to handle the transaction? Personal check, money order? How would you ship? postal, UPS? Thanks.

I bought a Pro 5.0 and I'm super happy with it.

  11. My first thought is what car are you wanting to use the transmission?

In my case the Mustang shiftier was too short. HRP
