Most likely, multiple times over the years. Once the first shot is marked on it, any more come a lot easier.

hoping I dont get in trouble for posting that photo, Is actually a model the guy created. Has a 1957 2 door hard top that looks more real then the truck. I know nothing about them, but thought they were pretty cool looking and fit this thread.
I do not even know if they are plastic models or metal.

Wow, if it wasn't for the hood hinge slots, depth of focus, and upon close inspection, birch catkins to represent leaves, I mighta been fooled. A very cool model.

  15. I thought that looked like a model the first time I saw it. I was wondering what kind of camera made it look like that, then reading further confirmed it. That was a good job.

Looks like a customized gas tank and gas door to isnt it? Looks like someone did a good job from here.

  23. Yea but now the gas tank is in the cab behind the seat like its supposed to be. The cab came off my old 64 3/4 ton that I used for a wrecker. I plant to put the wrecker bed on the 4 wheel drive. Ive got some C60 fenders and 60 chrome grille. the big truck fenders will easily clear the 19.5 wheels and tires I have for it.

Where I grew up 50 years ago, way out in the country, and the son of a 50’s hot-rodder; we had quite a few old cars around - parked out in the trees after having given up whatever organ donation they were purchased for. About 100 yards from the house, you could see the back of a 35 Ford 4-door sedan poking out of the brush, with that cute rear window nicely visible and all.

I’m pretty ashamed to admit this, but I must have put 300 holes in that thing with my little Browning lever action.22. It was just far enough away that you could hear the bullet impact - crack, plink!

Later, my Dad and my Uncle used our D4 Cat to smash it flat and bury it in the creek bank where the water was eroding away the edge of the field.

I remember that car being pretty nice - had all of its fenders, doors, running boards, etc. Dad said he paid $40 for it because the tires on it were better than the ones he had at the time.

What we could do with a time machine!

    We found/saved this one.
    A 1949 3800 LWB (DELUXE!) panel.
It was put on a rotisserie and that is luckily as far as the last owner got.
It's the driest one I have seen. all there, just disassembled.

Technically it was "hanging and rotting"...
Luckily the guy who sold it to me was a big help and put it back together.

postOLDSinTREES.jpg Got to walk through an actual hoarder's property. The family has been there since the 1800s and most of the cars were family cars, parked when they were done with them.
I will get organized and post some. The grove of trees grew up around them
