Snapped a pict of these yesterday on the way to my fathers for Xmas. We took one different road that I haven’t been on and saw these. Kids said to me dad, is that the next project....lol. Wife said you have to be kidding me. We didn’t stop, just took some photos, but I’ll be back! Merry Christmas to all.

  2. Looks like a great find. Solid too. Any idea what make/model it is?

Something tells me it has a V12...something...o_O...:D...at first glance it reminds me of those half track wartime troop carriers...but yes old rusties are cool no matter what time of year it is...

Looks late 20's early 30's and the big clue would be that obscured logo on the rad shell...dang

It appears to be an American LaFrance to me, just based off of the shape of the logo on the radiator shell. Those are pretty rare, and worth saving.

Nope...that may be but not the ole rusty fenders are skirted at bottom like a 34. Perhaps another year. That logo albiet blurry does not look like La france it seems arced

Closer but I still don't think the logo on the shell looks like American La France and the pics are decieving as one has headlights and the other doesn't so @Vanness may have to get a better shot when he goes to pick it up...

The 2nd shot is a different vehicle, as the V12 badge is missing as well as the headlights. Fenders are different too.

  18. I haven't had time to download and examine the pictures but I would add that Pirsch used a badge similar to the ALF badge. The Pirsch badge was a horizontal rectangle with a vertical diamond in the center and extending above and below the rectangle. Either way and depending upon the condition of the truck it is worth saving given the money, time, and desire necessary to get it done.

Looks like one of those rigs you would build with benches in the back so you could haul friends or kids in the back at times.

Great detective work guys. Yes there were two vehicles there. Sorry for confusion. Also I am not bringing them home (yet) lol. I’ll get some more Picts when I stop after the new year. Hope my diesel can tow em out....

  28. That's cool, I'll follow a thread if it gets Rodded. I see the grille emblem is on the bumper as well.
