The shot has been photoshopped. The background of the Cotton Club is real. The musicians and car are inserted, reversed, and very modern. I play saxophone for a living and the saxophone in the front is the latest model, probably built in the 1990's or in this century. And, of course, he's playing "left handed saxophone." Cab was at the CC in the '30s and early '40s. So that horn is too modern for that setting.

Tried to get it to match what my grandfather's Pontiac looked like a few years ago. 1935Pontiac-Combo.jpg

1937Pontiac-Combo.jpg Although the dashboard changed in 1937, this image gives a bit of an idea of the interior of my grandfather's 1935 Pontiac.

1955Chevrolet-Combo.jpg ... and finally, my own father had a '55 Chevy ordered in these colors. A favorite combination of mine that exemplifies the 1950's.

Is this much R/F negative camber typical when in corners ? It seems excessive to me ..

looks like there's a couple things going on in that front end. yes, it's a bit of camber going, as you can see it in the LF as well. the biggest thing is that the tire is rolling under on the RF making it look more pronounced. and the car as a push....

Your observations are correct. But I would suspect that Marshman is turning way too sharp for normal cornering. It looks to me like he is making a tight radius turn while coming off of Turn Four at Milwaukee in order to enter the pits. If he was continuing to run fast and stay on the track the camber change would not be as excessive as it appears in the photo.
