On mine, the windshield tilts up so you can snap underneath it around the post. Snap on top of another snap.

    Hello,

There were a lot of roadsters that had tonneau covers when we were filming the drags. The simple set up were the snap in covers with a zipper down the middle. Others used top quality outdoor canvas that had little to no stretch for full weather protection. One set up I saw had magnets sewn in to the edging to keep everything in place covered. This was a neat clean set up without any holes or exposed snaps on the roadster metal, but driving at speed may flip an edge or two. Differing styles for different applications. Some street roadsters that I remember had the same style magnets for holding down the cover when they were at picnics and roadster shows. That made for a clean body and no holes to drill.

The last race shows the Speed Sport Special Roadster with an all metal tonneau cover as part of the streamlining. upload_2016-11-30_4-11-45.png upload_2016-11-30_4-12-9.png upload_2016-11-30_4-12-28.png

I have a nice black tonneau on my '55 F100 bed. Cold, rainy weather lets it sag a little, but it's tough; stretches and when it dries shrinks right back, tight as a drum.
I need to use this material for a tonneau on my '27 tub.
This was a GREAT thread, what a collection of tarps!

Post# 119 is memorable. Kudos to @117harv for this and all the others!
