This post was started like a month ago. Some of the pics have been deleted since then to save bandwidth. A shame, this's been a good post.

I try not to frown too much on 4 doors. Really the thing that hurts em the most is the high roof line. Personally I'll put a 4 door hardtop right on par with a 2 door sedan, because even though it has a few extra doors, it has a lower, sleeker roofline.

Pre-'64 shit isn't getting any cheaper either. There are lots of young guys trying to get into this car thing too. A 16-17 year old kid who is just learning most importantly needs a car that is gonna reliably taxi his/her ass around. A reliable 2 door is gonna cost, but a 4 door is more in the budget.

It's those dudes with huge pomps and 4 door 68 Chryslers that need to go. You got no excuse to carry that many doors.

I was thinking the same thing less than 1/2 of the pics show up. I always thought "damn if that was a 2DR I would be all over it" But lately I have been thinking different. It seems the only reasonable priced cars are the 4drs. I am always looking for a deal so the 4drs look better and better every day. Besides I have my 2nd on the way and it is alot easier to get in a 4dr:) with all that new car seat law crap they have going on... Anyone else remember the good old days when kids rode around in the back of pickups? My family was always riding in a standard PU with 4-5 people in the front seat. Shit you would go to jail now

This is my 52 chebby. It has a visor (from crestliner). TOP is painted '96 porsche blue-matcing blue wheels. decklid has mural by me & stripin' by empire32. Door handels painted white for clean look. (this is an effective CHEAP trick. They used to be black & stuck out likea thumb! The grill was black too when I got it, I just renently made the teeth silver.

The 99 dakota R/T was designed by me & painted by owner. That owner also painted my blue roof. He has air-ride & 22". Has a shaker hood w/ 318. It's fast! Mine's SLOW!

The price was right, 500.00, sold the running gear for 300.00,so why not. The only trouble is its the club truck when we go to shows. Over the Hill Gang PA.
