Spotted this on flea bay today. I guess you could say cup holders have been around for a while. I thought it was kinda funny, so I wanted to share it! :p

they didn't need cup holders in the old days because you were not driving with a phone in your hand.

  5. That's a cool collectible. I can't see that going very well in one of my thrash machines. I would need a Sippy cup. Ron...

  12. Some Grocery carts/basket used to have them on them. Ones I remember were two holders.

My wife is the cup/bottle holder and she is pre-1965 so I guess that counts.

"Drive Refreshed" . Coca cola has had some real good advertisers and product development I might say. This idea is nice to duplicate and can be customized to whatever your liking... car company, color,... With a different material i would say.

    Sporty45 is that cardboard?.
Can you take a better picture of the instructions please.

Yes, the avatar is probably too young but is very traditional, I'd think.

She has a nice purse too...:D...I do think it would generate curiosity and it would hang nicely over the bottle in the holder whilst she is sittlng beside you in the Hotrod...

I was being sarcastic...thats my big word for the night...I'm pretty sure it's not a purse...and when that happens you know the evening is going to be interesting

That is one of those things that was made to promote Coke products I suppose and faded away or have these holder things existed since then? Do the older folks here remember this stuff back then...and it brings up another question how old is it?

They didn't need any holder back in the day! You cradled that ice cold Coke in your crotch between your legs and drove with two hands! Didn't matter that when you got out of the car it looked like you pissed yourself! ;)

I guess there are period options...this is cool...However earlier Hotrods such as T's and A's as for that matter 33/34 the interior space is limited...for holders for your beverage of choice...so creative placement will be challenging and worth a try. I stick my drink down between the seat and quarter panel which is un-paneled as of yet...and thats only when I'm solo.

  29. A roll of duct tape is my go to cup holder, when you don't need it ,it conveniently stores under the seat. HRP
