Body delivered to the sign painters. The radiator shroud is now finished. The chassis is nearly torn down for blasting. I'm done for today.

Body is now gold leafed and hand lettered. Very happy with the results.

Chassis is blasted, and in the rotisserie at the painters. Hope to have it painted this week, then reassembly begins. Moving slow, but still moving. Got the zoomies back from being coated. Time to round up a bunch of stuff for the Powder coaster. I have heard the tech officials frown on a chromed axle, bummer. I guess powder coat for them as well.

That little 380 sounds good at 6000, but my 474 sounds fantastic at 7500!!

Chassis and rear axle housing are painted and home. A few more parts on order, then the assembly will begin.

It is JetHot extreme chrome finish. More like a satin aluminum finish. Fits in with all the satin on the motor. I like it, and it is durable as hell. Zoomies are Jet Hot as well. I am going for 60's style.

Great build. I just read through the whole thing for the first time. I've been wanting to do this for a long time! My avitar is a 1/2 scale I built for my son. I want to build the real thing tho... Kudos to you for providing the stoke!
