Are truck tanks different than cars? I assume 28-29 is the same, but I cant find any info on trucks /cars being the same or different.

I have a buddy who is a 1928/29 Ford Model AA truck guy and I've visited his yard on numerous occasions and can pretty much confirm from what I saw that the cowl and gas tank on both cars and trucks of the 1928/29 model A's are both the same.
I think you will find the 30/31 (although he has very few of them in his yard) are the same truck and car.

Four door sedan gas tanks are different, other than that 28 - 29 tudor, coupe, roadster and truck will interchange.

The 28-29 Fordor tanks are the same as all the others, just mounted under the one piece cowl. Early 1930 Model A trucks used up the leftover 1929 cabs and have the 1930-31 gas cap, a rare tank to find. Bob[IMG]
