Just wanted to share a good story of a car I just found.

It’s a 1930 Model A Coupe that was in the same family here in So Cal since new. After WW2, twin brothers Frank and Fred took the stock Ford and gave it the works. 21 stud flathead, 39 trans, 32 grille, juice brakes, etc. Frank kept the car until his passing a few years back and his wife Mary, now in her late 80’s shared the story with me and dug up some great old pics.

The car is still pretty complete, the engine is out and there was a live raccoon in the trunk (which has now been evicted) It’s pretty untouched but looking crusty from cooking in the sun since it was parked out back well over 40 years ago.

Frank was a car guy until his final day. He had a 40 Ford coupe in the 50’s that was pretty slick and in his later years had other early Fords. I wish I could have met him , but I’m thrilled to be the lucky new owner of his “hot rod”.

The '32 grill looks so, right at home on that A. Put some tires on it, and drive it.

D8C1399C-0D10-403B-A1A8-B20317C253BD.jpeg Thanks guys! It was a thrill to stumble on to it, took my freakin breath away when I saw it sitting there in the weeds. When all the parts came out of the shed it just got better and better.

The front end was all off of it as found, but it was all there stashed away... when I got it home to my yard I couldn’t wait to hang it together real quick and just sit in a lawn chair and stare at it for a while.

Your not kidding...those guys could've traded positions and no one would have known...bet they had a few funny stories about that

So @bugnbox seconding @cactus1's question what's the plan...running it as
the twin Frank and Fred photo above, full fendered as you found it or maybe you got other cool period photos with other looks it had?

Another question...did you have a thorough look around the place and ask his wife for anything car related as maybe there were other cool things to be had. What become of the other brother...perhaps he may have some things to release to the new cargiver...I mean caregiver...:D...ya know pics stories parts leads...
You stumbled onto a great project there...
