Look at the top one compared to the bottom one.......four door with rear doors welded up, c pillar removed and vent windows removed from front door......."almost" looks like a real 2door
Does anyone remember a '55 2 door hardtop that ran at maple grove in c/mp - It was white with a paint on black "vinyl" top, had the paint dividers removed, 57 buick taillight lenses jammed in the stock housings and "Bad Boy No. 1" painted on the front fenders???? It ran a cross ram 327, 4 speed and a pont/olds rear with homemade slapper bars - inside were corvair seats....also had tow bar brackets and was nosed and decked with a wagon bumper.......probably ran in the early to mid 60s......
Papa Bear One of my favorite cars to watch, a real old shot at Dover The Carpetbagger and yes it is STILL racing today maybe 50 years later (And yes this day he was running gas but soon switched to MP) Tuffy's Toy Parton Bros Wife's Gripe also
Strip Streaker 4 door Ralph Ridgeway Deb's always one of my favorites Don Wilmer Hang Em High at Thunder Raceway Mad Man at cecil County
A poor photo I took many years ago but here you go anyway. This hot rod belonged to Jerry Hancock, still active in the sport in Division 6 (Hancock and Lane).
YAY a T Bird for a change Salty's Shaker. Pretty good wheelie for back in the day and again Super Chevrolet Wilcox
Loudbang pretty decent wheelie on the T-Bird is right. Early on this car ran a small block Ford I believe but they switched to BBC power (pretty sure aluminum head 427). Car is still around and I believe the BBC is going back in it (if it is not in it already).
