Conversation started. Windy and cold here today. I don't feel like digging in the snow today, calling for 50s Thursday.

If it doesn't make it out this year, I would be willing to help in the summer. Odds are I could swing out that way and try to get it out

If anyone can save it, it's you! Amazing what you saved there.

With my luck, I'd come back and find an empty hole.

Dartracer, keep diggin', this is fun. if I was within 500 miles I'd roar right over there and lend a hand.

Jackalope, After a close study of those photos, I think I've spotted a couple changes you made. I like your shop, but don't know how you manage to keep so much concrete visible. Most of my shop usually looks a lot like your far corner.

Cold and windy here, looks like mid 50 Friday and Saturday. Should be good for digging, if all goes well it will be out. Ray said he will be back out Saturday to help out.

Big Shop and it is plenty cluttered.
Changes, like a chop and doors added yes. All original sheetmetal, absolutely. Fully documented here on the HAMB. Not going to steal this thread. I only posted my pics to show I am serious and can/will use the vehicle to resurrect it. I tried private messaging but the app will not allow me to send pics in the message setting.

Windy here, but spent about an hour and a half digging today. Looks good for coming out of its hill this weekend.

Yes it is, have been using a pick to brake some of it up. Also have a small shovel that cuts through pretty good. Finish digging the windshield frame and rest of the inside, and it should roll out of there.

I found what I thought to be the roof of a car when I was a kid. I started digging and the damned thing turned out to be an old Maytag washer. I just left it there.

When I was in 10th grade (1971) my friend's dad gave him a '29 Ford to finish the restoration on. We worked on it every weekend and had it is good running shape within a few weeks. Sitting in a field right next to his house was the "bucket" section of a Model T. It was missing everything from the dashboard forward (firewall, cowl, etc...) I drug it home and it sat on our back patio for a while. I can't recall what became of it. We may have left it when we moved. Too long ago. I had big plans for it though...

Hey dartracer--thanks for this thread and the progress pics. There's something about these dig-it-out threads that just grabs us. I think it's the treasure hunt angle. Oh, and remember, be sure to take a picture of whatever comical means you use of finally hauling it away. Hard to top a hippo boat, but this is your big chance! :D

No hippo but it’s out. And yes getting it out was comical. Dark when I got home, will post more tomorrow.

Might be enough parts for a roadster project.
