I own a 1929 Hudson Super Six, parts seem to be a bitch to find and quiet frankly I like the look of a clean custom... While reading on the car I found this----> "Unfortunately Murphy’s stylish rooflines were judged to be too low by Hudson’s chief of engineering, Stephen Fekete, and he quickly dispatched an assistant to go to Biddle & Smart and "raise the roof three inches" " I thik this car would look way more classy if the roof was dropped 3" as I am thinking was originally planned, can someone PLEASE help me out with photoshopping this old girl down 3”??? Ill post 3 pics. Even though the car is very straight and original, it wouldn't be to far off since it would be the car that almost was. ( 28/29 had the same body style) Thanks! -++.JPG IMG_2992.PNG IMG_2978.JPG

  4. OK I guess there are no other takers on this one so here's one that's almost stock with a slight chop and a few other changes and another not so stock....The rear wheel sits forward on your picture so I left it that. Great car by the way!!!

Holy crap that is some SOLID motivation right there!!! How much of a chop guesstimate is slight, I’m not the best eyeballer ? I tried to picture it in my head but just couldn’t... Thank you!

Hey Moose! Dropped my '55 and thinking of lowering it a little more. Can you drop the back about an inch more and the front about 2 inches more? Thanks in advance, Paul. DSC02926.JPG

NEW_realwheels_chrome.jpg realwheels-org-alum-4.jpg Thanks Moose! Just pecking away at the '31 and decided to put the '55 back to a good street car, so I can use it more. Can we lose the hood scoop and lettering? If you get time, maybe add these wheels. Have a great holiday! Paul

Never assume that because someone makes something look easy, it is. If that were the case we would all be doing our own photoshopping!

    Love your coupe :)

Looking for some inspiration, I came across this beautiful 544 Cabriolet and used this as a base. You requested a shortened wheel base, so I sliced and diced and shaved and came up with a two-place roadster. A bit more custom than sports car, though. Actually, I think I prefer the original.

The section really helped it imho, thank you.

Another version that's a bit more radical and a total custom...shorter wheel base ,sectioned
with re-contoured front fender. It would take a lot of work but would be a real attention getter...

Man this looks awesome,I even like the color.I like that you retained the 544 windshield frame and windshield and cut them down. How much did you lean the rear of the front fender forward on the top?Did you move the bottom forward some?Lastly how much did you lower the front fender above the trim?My friend Choprods (Kenny Baker) is converting my pv444 into a coupe for me so I have time for this. The pv544 stock wheelbase is 102".Given that info can you tell me about what diameter the tires and wheels are. Thanks as always.....Greg
