Bob Yoas' Ferrari-esque Vette was built by Dick Bertolucci, and is another car that deserves to be seen in color.

If the name doesn't sound familiar, Bertolucci was responsible for many great customs, and worked closely with Westergard (who was employed by Bertolucci at the time of his death).

The famous Buddy Ohanesian Merc, with its incredible lift-off top, is just one of Betolucci's early masterpieces.

(Thanks to Rik Hoving for the Photo Archives.)

Doug Kinney AKA Dirty Doug. Ed big daddy Roths right hand man

  11. And brilliant tail light's on Doug Kinney's Cadillac. Ironic since they were on damn near every other kustom.
Refreshing to see a '59 Cadillac that does not have Cadillac tail light lenses!

  12. By the way, Doug traded the Hirohata Mercury in on that new 1959 Cadillac that he then customized.

  13. Think Jim McNeil would trade me the Hirohata for my '59 Caddy Couch and Watson Caddy desk? I'm game if he is.....

  14. Dream on Dr. Dave! ;)

    Kruisin' around.

It's almost the middle of December, all the snow is gone, and
It was 15C (or 60F) today.
(at this time of the year, about 15C degrees cooler, snow and the streets could be slushy)

Decided to unwrap Black Betty and go for a little cruise.

Took the camera and stopped by the old Turner Valley gas plant, which is still in operation.
Dates back to 1914, now an historic site.

Before putting her back into bed, gave her a good drink of gasoline, $20 worth for Kruisin' today.

Very kool! You have got to see Dr Dave's place in person. It's worth the trip.

You should know you can`t make a comment like that without pictures.
