I think it is cool because of what it was, but had they actually gone into production it would be one of those WTF were they thinking cars like the Edsel..... or 61 Dodge Dart:)

For me the back end looks like an afterthought... a shame as they did a nice job on the front and pretty much all the way back to just about the rear axle.

Does anyone know if this car survived?

Rework the tail and I'm completely in. Maybe adjust the fins a bit and put the tail lights in them- kind of like a '61 Caddy.

  7. I like it! I wonder what it'd look like if they had moved the fins back on the quarters. Needs a '57, J-2/ 4 speed.

Those fins are wack, but I like the front better than the 58-62 Corvette. An Oldsmobile V8 would have been way better than the blue flame Corvette too.

Love love love this car! Well, almost. Yes those fins are wack! Loose those and the headrests and the curving chrome wrapping under the butt of this car. If you have those great blade bumpers on the front of the car put some great blade bumpers on the rear too. Thanks for posting.

The tail section looks kit car-ish.The rest of it is pretty damn stylish.

Interesting. I had not seen this one before. The fins look like an afterthought and the Oldsmobile billboard's gotta go.
The side spear and rocket bulge showed up on the '61 Pontiacs.

I like seeing these concepts and recognizing some design detail that made it to production 3-5 years later. Sometimes even on another brand, it has some cool ideas
