My job at the shop today was to make a skin to cover the totally beat tailgate on our '61 Econoline shop truck project. Proof of concept. Radius bar on sheet metal break. Notes to remind me what goes where. Time to start bending and fitting stuff. Sent from my SM-G920T using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Laying our ribs. Ready ro rock... Josh making a hand. Fitting to tail gate. More on Monday. Sent from my SM-G920T using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Really neat solution. I keep seeing smoothed sculpted tailgates on unibody trucks, but they're so plain. Your econo answer is much better!
New skin had to be modified to clear tag surround body line. Now opens all the way without contact. Sent from my SM-G920T using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
After some work with the shrinker it now lays flush all the way around. Top rail on it was beat so puting a little spoiler/ top cap on it. Sent from my SM-G920T using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
