  7. image.jpeg 1963 340hp 327 in my roadster. Standard bore with 11:1 pistons and standard crank on rods and mains. Went from Knoxville Tn to LA and back without a hitch.

    IMG_0362.JPG IMG_0365.JPG IMG_0359.JPG IMG_0361.JPG Better late than never, these reside in my garage. An orig L-79 out of my old '65 Chevelle, and the other was at one time just a plain 300HP out of a '63 Imp, has been in the 5W since who knows when.

    Thanks Butych, not letting this one go, it's my forever motor.
    I have grand plans of 3x2 inlet after a trutrac diff head, which we be after paint.
    I am really fond of Chevy II's it's good to hear yours held its own on the street.
    Also thanks for the parts offer however freight half way across the world would not be as friendly.

    I still use them when I can find a good block with no more than .030 bore. Here are two of my older builds. IMG_1701.jpg

    Hopefully an easy question. I have my Dad's high school 39 Ford - 327 installed in mid 1960's - 1964 or so vintage. The PVC tube behind the dizzy is leaking oil - dripping down the bell housing. What is the fix? I usually do small block Fords. - this is new territory. 2017-06-13 22.17.23.jpg

    Did you use the gasket under the oem part that bolts to the block?
    You may not know this but there is a canister in the valley that (should) stop that, maybe it was left out.
