Just spotted this in a Street Rodder Magazine Presents Rodder '85 Street Rod Nationals 1985 Coverage... resembles that Ford Kustom that was being sold at an estate sale , auction, I believe it was green? I think it was posted on this thread...[IMG]

stanlow69 posted a shot of the beautiful Riley Collins-built Ray Cress 1956 Merc on another thread.
I think it deserves to be seen in color.

The car was designed and painted by Jim Roten, who also designed Riley Collins' Chevy Cameo shop truck.
Note the similar grilles...."quirky", but cohesive. (Like the Merc's disappearing side trim.)
(Thanks to Rik Hoving for the images.)

This is a Winfield-built custom, based on a fiberglass body...also built by Winfield!
    Incredible!

    EDIT: Spelling Correction
(Thanks, Peanut. I knew it didn't look right! o_O)

I was going to call on this one but no phone number and I figured it would be sold by the time I wrote a letter........[IMG]to me it looks like it might have some skirts that are covering radiuses for the rear tires this is the clearest picture could get....

Thanks for posting the article on Lenny`s car. I saw the add in the classified section of Hot Rod in an issue from the late 60`s or early 70`s. I had not seen this car until then. Which didn`t show much.
