My good friend Gary Mizar has just caught up to the 21st century... he's got himself a website! Gary worked with Ed "Big Daddy" Roth for over 13 years... up until Ed passed away, actually. Not only is Gary one of the best pinstripers around, his art is incredible, and he also does commissioned art. I've got a bunch of his original art in my man-cave, plus I've had him to do some "one-off" art also. He's got great prices, and he does beautiful work! Check him out at http://www.garymizar.com/
It may not be an actual Roth piece but he approved it Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
This artwork reminds me of Stanley "Mouse" Miller and the great Monte's work back in the early 60's Both of these were legends! Jimbo
Thanks for the link. His art is very much like the 60's Roth stuff with his own style mixed in. It is very nice and worth a look.
Wow, I'd never heard of him until now. What an exceptional talent. He certainly has the feel and 'Big Daddy' Roth's legacy continues on. His style is as close to the original as I've seen. Kudos for getting him 'On line' so everyone can appreciate his work. What's old is new again!
Something else that needs to be repeated, Gary does some awesome "one-off" commissioned pieces, also. He's very approachable and it's easy to get him to "see" what you're looking for. His prices are great, too. (and no... I'm not a commissioned salesman. )
