History Edelbrock Article - Rod & Custom August 1976

I'm trying to find an article about the rise of Vic Edelbrock and his relationship with Tommy Thickstun that was in Rod & Custom August 1976 (or maybe 1978?) page 50 I think (the date is cut of the photo). I have a copy of one page but I'd like to get the whole article for some research. It has the only photo I have ever seen with the single carb adapter for Edelbrock's original sling shot. Any helps is greatly appreciated!

 

It wasn't in 1976 or 1978 Rod & Custom was defunct in those years. I'll see what I can find.

 

ok, good to know... the bottom right of the photo has just the tops of the issue, could it be August 1979? 1973? the last number looks round on top.

 

Nick I found it. Pages 58-61 August 1972 R&C. That's the only pictures of that manifold. I'll try to figure out how to scan the article and send it out.
