You could get it all there - gas, grub, and a place to sleep!

Funny thing (for me) when looking at pics like this, my eyes always jump straight to the '51/'52 Buicks. Every. Single. Time. I've spent so much time crawling all over mine, reading manuals on it, picking flea markets for parts and trudging through far off junkyards and farmsteads looking at them, the shape of the car from any angle is seared into my mind. Same as if you were to plunk down a group pic with my son in it, I'd find him every time...

Actually, with the way he is working, two pinkies down, a belly button would be no problem. Back in the early eighties I worked the street machine nationals. "show us your t*ts" signs were all over. I striped a few belly button areas and a number of boobs. I had a sign shop for a number of years that was two doors down from a tattoo shop. They tattoo everything. lol It's all part of a days work.

Rootie, since this pre-war looking big car appears to be on pavement just where was this photo taken? The only paved track I can think of in that era was at Thompson, Connecticut.

    Thanks as always.

Looking through some old photos I found this one I took while hiking in the Nevada desert in 1967. Wonder if it is still there after 50 years? 20171129_201957.jpg

Here is one of a Navy shipmate of mine and his 56 Mercury taken in 1967. I don't recall his first name but his last name was Wyke and he was from Georgia. 20171129_202110.jpg

Is that a Mercedes/ Diamler at right? I thought my 2008 GL550 had the biggest emblem on front but this one is huge!
