I loved this build. Would love to see it with a chassis under it.

At this point I’m wondering if the project has been abandoned.
Too bad if that’s true. :(

Wow! Two years since the last update, seams like it was only a few weeks ago. Sure was a fun project while it was going strong.

    Hi Guys,
I wish I had an update for you, but I don't.

As you may remember, I lost my workshop and with nowhere to work, I decided to sell Beetledeuce in the hope that someone would carry on where I left off. Since then I have lost touch with the guy that bought it. I do trawl the internet from time to time in the hope that it may reappear, but so far there has been nothing. I fear it may be languishing in the back of a garage somewhere.

On a positive, I feel I achieved something special which went far beyond what I had hoped for at the start.
Maybe someone else out there will be inspired to have a go at their own Beetledeuce MkII !

    English Gent.

Well if you ever need a metal working "fix" come on over to BRITISH Columbia. You can have a go at some of my needs. I'll put you up. After work we can toddle off to "my local" and quaff a few. You'll feel right at home with the rain we've been having!

Haha....You never know Fella, I might take you up on that! Although I can do without the rain.

    Have you sold it?

Did i just feel a sting of Jalousie, for a guy I don’t know selling a body I been lusting after, to a guy I don’t know?

I know I’m weird, but Dang I liked that body!

  15. Maybe.... Gent spent the quiet time finishing it up!
Maybe.... he got tired of taking pictures!
Maybe... he is driving it around all the back roads right now!
Maybe he is creating more installments of
a story that will out-live all of us!
    Ain't this great!!!!!
    Just sayin'!

  16. maybe you should read the whole thread.:);)

  17. Yeah that's it !!!!!!
English gent was just fooling us

  18. tb33,
    Respectfully,
I have followed the thread since the beginning.
I just threw out a little speculation I thought
might be humorous. I am hoping just like many other
followers that this project does reach a finished state.
I am in sympathy with Gent for dealing with the loss of his
work space and hopping he can soon set up again and continue.
I don't want to hijack the thread.

That was the epitome of creativity and resourcefulness.
I just hope the project didn't take a left turn like many do in cases like this or worse yet languishing in the back of some dusty barn, it deserves better.
    Hope it surfaces.
