  1. I have the issue of Car Craft with the Ringer &Sounders article.It's the NW drag racing issue from 67. I can scan it when I have time.

    You know, I may have it myself but many are in old moldy boxes and many don't have covers any more.

  6. I was sold on your original pic. Actually, I was sold watching Mr. Ed back in the day; and my mom thot I just thot the talking horse was funny.;):)

    Dad & I went down to Long Beach Ca. that day to watch Howard Hughes take off & fly the "Goose" 15 ft. above the water, then set it down to prove it actually would fly.
    Then Hughes was reimbursed from the Fed. Govt. for all the money spent developing it for WWII, which ended in 1945,----It was 1947 when the "Goose" made the historic short flight.

    Somewhere in Australia. Looks like New South Wales plates. Probably East Coast near a beach with all those surfboards. Nice art deco building.
