Nice especially the black roadster and the pickup with the GM inline in it.

I just want to mention when I see these pipes I think of @raprap's Chevy and wonder was he inspired by these Big Pipes which are in fact quite period...odd yes but period. It's interesting sometimes what we think of as new isn't so new after all...
That is is one clean machine RapRap...;)
I'm sure you will miss it...

I think for a few reasons:

    1. it looks like it may be a slant window cowl.
    2. the wood cab is square and the cowl is not.
    3. the car is parked at an angle/camera perspective.
    4. the roof slants down above the front seats.

The more I look at it the more I like it. There are SO MANY Model A's in the northeast that are nothing but a cowl and a frame (or less) and this is a great, simple way to get more of them back on the road and making good times.

You guys are seeing more than I do, but that may be true in general. At any rate that is the nicest home made woody I've seen. Some guys spend a lot of money and time on phony woodies that don't capture the feel this one does.

I just want to extend an apology to those whom I have re-posted what they have posted earlier in the thread and also to those members I have missed giving credit to their rides...It happens I know but I try to credit and keep the content fresh but as threads get longer stuff happens. Thank you @onekoolkat1950 again for starting this thread and all the others who continue to keep things interesting...

I've poked fun with the blend but he just refers to it as
    the
    Cheap ass 34 pick up
    Hamber @dumprat's
    project

Vintage 6 Plymouth Powered and loaded with many innovative personal
period inspired touches...proving that good things don't have to come
as expensive packages. I always say having certain skills under your belt helps
and he does. Its one interesting build to watch amongst the many gracing the Hamb...

Enjoying watching things evolve...check it out...

  22. The Builder of that car is Jim Niblet, he was From Oklahoma & retired from USAF. He now lives in Florida. You can Find a R&C Magazine Cover Car in 1973, a Yellow 1934 Didge Highboy Roadster. Jim at the Present has another
Roadster similar, He's built about 5 of these Car. Best Regards BigDTexasKid

Anthony you are an amazing teacher...wish we did the things you and your students get up to
back in my Auto Shop days.

Does it fit...yeah. Will vintage rubber (bias) and a mid sixties theme adorn it when its done like flaked paint and colored glass? It should be at the very least inspired 65ish as thats what the general way of thinking is here at the Hamb. Some push the envelope and I don't generally go there.

I posted a Hambers 57 Nomad Wild thing and it got yanked...I was surprised as I thought it was well thought out in a period way mind you it was and still is unfinished perhaps raising the ratty Flag if you know what I'm saying.

    You may know the car...

What your building is way out different so lets see where it goes. I posted some wild things way back too...

    Heres a cool one...

By the way put a link to your build with your post...it is good for connecting the dots...;)

Again I think it can fit just fine here with directed expertise...and you've been around
    long enough to know.
