  6. You might do better to have an auction instead of posting pic after pic on here. People that would come to the auction would know what the parts are and bid appropriately. Parts values are like cars, they are regional. What would sell for one price in the South would sell for another price in the Northwest.

  7. Of course, if thou knows how to packeth, for shipping across country and sea. This guy, could/ would bid on those rough 32 rear fenders. On that auction site. Just sayin'.

The green front fender is not a Ford (sorry Rocky). The running boards behind it are 32 Ford. The gray hood is 35 Ford. Fan looks like 40 Ford. Purple dash is 40 Merc I think, not positive. The hidden decklid behind that top looks like it could be 40 Ford coupe. Big dollars if nice shape. The 32 rear fenders you call rough might not be rough to others. The small dents are really nothing, the key is if there are bead breaks. Nobody likes bead breaks.

Don't believe the parts with tags are NOS. Lots of swappers put tags on used parts. The front fender is a '36 truck and the running boards are '32. The dash is a '40 Merc and hood side is '35. Lots of neat valuable stuff there if it can be marketed effectively.

I've bought a few trinkets on ebay from "1935fordtn" in McMinnville. Might be worthwhile to contact to see if they would help listing or buy as a lot.

Her husband said absolutely no auction. I was just trying to help her figure out what she has. I can stop on here if it's not apropate or bothersome on here. I just thought y'all could help and maybe end up with something needed.

The deck lid probably is a 40 he had one and it's really nice. The finders just have a bunch of little dents but very nice no rot steel. The running boards and finder are very nice as well.

I like the "what is it" & I.D. threads. It tests my 50 years of knowledge and sometimes proves what I don't know. We are always happy to help and as always the value is dependent on condition, location and the desire of the buyer and seller.

  14. I don't think the thread is bothersome. like redo32 said, lots of people enjoy the id threads. I just thought it would save you some work.

Plus, if there was an auction, its close enough that I would come...:)

It is extremely nasty and been on a shelf for a extremely long time. Someone told me it's probably worth 200.00 as a core.

Thanks so much for everyone's help at helping me find out what everything is. Her husband for some reason didn't want a auction. Maybe because he loved finding the stuff and wanted people to find it or maybe just have his friends make new friends trying to find new care takers. Whatever the reason they are a awesome family and dear friends so anything I can do to help I'm extremely willing to do. That being said I do have a couple more things to ask about.

200 is good core price, I gave 150 for mine. It will be expensive to ship it though. Heavy SOB

Anyone on this? And does anyone know what the top is for? It's really big. Would you need pictures of it open or just measuring it work?

The 6-71 you want to take a peek inside and see if you see any scoring on the inside of the case.

Or corrosion; the outside looks like little white fuzzies growing. Might have been stored near moisture.

Is it worth more to take it apart to see or will only be good as a core?

They are a bitty to take apart, they have dowl pins, and the rear bearings are almost press fit. If you have someone looking at it, they can look inside and make their own judgement.
