Posted this on the Gas Pedal picture thread but wasn't able to get an ID. Not sure if its a no name original or a repop or maybe even a drum pedal as a buddy suggested. Anyone have any ideas? I'd like to have a better idea of what I've got before advertising it for sale. Thanks.
I don't think it's a drum pedal, they would have some sort of bracket on the toe to work the drum stick
It's definitely not a drum pedal, to the best of my knowledge they don't have the 'side ridges' to keep your foot in place. However that being said, I would like to find a Ludwig Speed Pro pedal and adapt it to my Gasser.
The mount and return spring look a lot like some aftermarket pedals I've seen. But something that holds your foot rigidly in one position isn't very comfortable after a while.
It looks like a direct copy of a Moon pedal only with the Moon name filled in before casting. Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
MR. GASKET made copies of pedals back in the day. Looks awful close to the one I have hanging in the shop. I found in a flat bottom drag boat. VERY COOL old piece.
Thanks all for the info. That said I'll put it in the parts for sale section as a no name copy of a gasser pedal. Hopefully it'll go to a good home.
