Man...I usually like all of his builds. But this one is just...off. I'm sure it's off the charts detailed and just dripping with the best fab work in the biz but it's just 'off'.

  8. Love the rearend treatment, especially the 1/2 frenched tail lights. Hate the wheels and tires. Color is something I always wanted to try--now I don't have to.

Interesting side steer bellcrank pitman arm.
It's nice if you like that sort of street rod stuff.

Nice, but not my cup of tea. I would rather see something that you get in and drive. This is just another "queen" that will never see any real road time.

I could do that color, but the car overall isn't me. And, as was said before, Troy likely doesn't care.

Yeah, first thing I thought when I saw that pic. Yech!

WTF??? I guess that's one way to get around the bump steer issue with cowl steering.....

^^^ Sorry, it does nothing for me I'm afraid and that rear suspension setup; the downward angle on the trailing arms is so wrong. The rear end won't hook up like that.
No doubting the build quality and fabrication would be to an exceptional standard, it looks 'Goofy' to me with those large diameter front wheels and tyres. The customer would have a degree of influence on the build direction as he funded the project.
Here's a Hot Rod magazine feature on it.

Really nice craftsmanship but not my cup of tea at all.
Looks like something out of a 'Cars' movie

With all due respect, it looks like it can’t decide if it’s a streetrod or a hot rod.

Ugly lines. Look at the grille? WTF... Lazy. Whole car in design is Lazy. Yes he won. It is not impressive at all for the budget fronted to get it there.

  24. Normally I am a big fan of all Troy's builds, but this Tudor... meh. I like the details but as a whole I'm just not feeling it.

Yeah not my style... maybe the owner will hate it and and want to get rid of it.

I'll be happy to take it off his hands and hide it from public view in my shop!

  26. And what an epic "battle" it must have been.

  27. Just got bCk from SEMAand this car blew my socks off . Torsion bar front suspension that hooks up like springs , all screws pointing the same way . On and on . The detail and metal work was out of site . Bead rolled roof insert to look like wood .
