After Selling my F100 I have missed having a fun hot rod. So I have decided to build a T Bucket. Going for a traditional style. Speedway body on a speedway frame. Power plant will be a 283 with a 4x2 Intake, Lake Style Headers TH350 trans and 9 inch rear axle. 30's Ford 16 inch wire wheels. Nothing to crazy just fun and simple.
Interior looks interesting.... you should share pics on the t-bucket interior thread if you haven't : https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/t-bucket-interiors.1072998/
Sounds like a terrific project. My back burner is occupied by a TT frame/rad/cowl and Packard inline 8. Had to move the cowl back 17"! Have fun.
I’ll be honest with ya, a T-Bucket was once a played out as a Hot Rod. Way too many people made them a little garish or just tweaked the tradition right out of it. Thanx to places like The HAMB, Traditional T’s are once again being built. Looking forward to this one, it seems like it’s headed down the right road. Perhaps this will get me off my a$$ and will finally get that Bo Jones Modified which I’ve had for years done. !!!!!!!!!!! I’m stoked for you man!!!
Is that a Boomer's jacket I see in that pic? That dude is trouble... Keep us updated. I miss my T Beater.
Some the parts I have collected so far. A set of Pontiac tail lights. Stock 283 Pulleys. Accel distributor. Model T steering wheel. Still unsure on the steering wheel may end up with a superior style wheel.
Still looking for shocks trans radiator, headlights little stuff. Sent from my VS995 using The H.A.M.B. mobile app

Hey sorry not getting back to sooner life has gotten in the way of the project at the moment. If you still have the headlights I would be interested in them. They would work for this project.
Well this going to be a slow build been super busy with other projects and life. I did just score some Sanderson SBC Headers on the Cheap.
Ended up picking this up. I will share more about it later. Sent from my SM-G965U using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
"Nuther example.......tried to build it in a more "lakes roadster" style, and wanted to avoid the "Fad T" look.
Just drive the wheels off it for now. It was smashed up sitting in a warehouse. Got it for steal. Sent from my SM-G965U using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Can't believe someone would let a slick car like that rot away, makes me wonder how many awesome cars are stuck in garages. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
The guy I bought it from was so pissed his building got hit he did not want to do anything with this t bucket. It was one of his favorite cars. I got it repainted, new glass, carb, air cleaner, blinkers added a cooler rack . I have put at 3500 miles in the six months I have owned it. Taken it out of state twice. I drive it everyday it is not raining. Sent from my SM-G965U using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Glad to see it. I plan to do the same when I finish mine, it's going to be hard to drive my Jetta when I have a roadster parked next to it! Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I have a 88 corvette project that has been stuff in the corner because this one is to much fun. Sent from my SM-G965U using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
