  2. I may be wrong BUT I believe they are the same for all enclosed body styles for both 35 and 36. Mitch.

No , Mitch is incorrect. They are the taller on 3 / 5 windows than 2 / 4 door sedans. I’ll try and post pics later

Some other comparison pictures. Notice on the lower edge how the sedan one is not as arched and nearly straight

Now, why the hell would Ford do that? A little "tweak" in the design and could have saved money.

  12. I got to figure all of that out the hard way. It was interesting.

It has to do with fitting a curved window into a curved panel and on different slopes- all of that with getting the body lines of the opening to APPEAR equidistant. Ford did tweak the design so the opening looked correct on both body styles.

Thanks 36-3w for that info and Uncle Buck for both info & pics!

  14. Due to the roll down window; coupe moldings have slots for rubber bumpers; easy way to be sure the guy at the swap ain't pulling your leg.

  16. there are some 35/36coupes without a roll down rear window...would it have the bumper slots too?

i have seen two coupes with fixed rear windows , one belonged to a friend

  17. One of the 35-36 experts on the Ford Barn said the fixed window coupes also had the slots; only one listed part number for a coupe rear molding.
