awesome build! lots of inspiration for things i'd like to do a little different on my '37. yours appears to have a very similar stance to mine, keep up the good work!

Just had to order these gauges with the crescent moon pointers, I'll be starring at them all the time after all ;):D:cool:

Considering this oil filter, if there is enough space. Will match my head covers:

Very cool. Will the paint match the motor?

No. Going classic black. Trying to keep some traditional in this hot rod ;)
Here is a 3 window inspiration for colour coordination.

A little before and after photo:

    Headers completed.
Working on exhaust. Will run them under and either out the sides behind cab or straight out back. Will have invisible plugs on headers for getting out of town driving and avoid fines as I anticipate this beast will be quite loud with these headers !!!

Some fab pics of the cone, floors + firewall
    [IMG]
There is room to customize and cut some out of the firewall centre box to allow more foot space for pedals if necessary![IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
Even with the channeling, there is surprisingly a lot of head room.
We chopped 5" of the top too!!!
Leg room won't be an issue either for a 6' person in there, so all of my 5'8" will be quite cozy....
    [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
Had to cut a tiny sliver of the top cowl to make room for the carb!
And plenty of room for the distributor...

Man thats lookin wicked:cool:, could do a littleman deal and put the radiator in the back and it would look good as is;)...or not, Im sure you will come up with something creative that flows with the spunky look of the rest of the truck:) Keep up the good work, I like!

Thanks low budget !!! Means a lot.
I'm going to keep it traditional and put the rad in the front with a '34 Ford grill. Gas tank in the back...

Headlight positioning + interior ergonomics. Got to mock my seating position to determine the length of the steering column and customize the pedals for optimum comfort!!!
Lower rather and higher for the guide lights gave it a meaner look and suited the truck better...
    [IMG] [IMG]
And here is little old me "Fakin' the funk" in the cab.....I was surprisingly more than very comfy in there at 5'8"
I really cannot wait until we start the custom interior.
