My shop is used for painting. A lot of painting. I like to keep the knickknacks down as I am constantly cleaning. I did an engine swap in an abandoned car wash during the winter in Havre Montana though.
Right you are! My bad. I was thinking "mobile" and "Hup" popped into my head. A senior moment. I have one Helck book, which is what Julie used for the mural. Chuck
These guys aren't really pets....they just kind of hang around the shop. I blame my dad, he started feeding one like 20 years ago....now we have generation after generation of the same family coming back. I dont mind, they crack me up. They can stay as long as they don't try to rip my face off! Lol The next generation were watching me work on an engine last night! Lol
spurgeonforge, the corrugated tin is gorgeous, so is the sedan. Sedan looks about like mine, but I have a better top and interior. is the V-8 scheduled for installation? What did you do to lower the front?
It is just a skinny one car garage, but it is enough room to teach my son the basics of welding, and enjoy teaching him about the 'old ways'...
Please teach your son that one of the basics of welding is to wear leather shoes. He'll thank you after he sees a hot piece of slag burn through the top of your shoe. Not trying to be a smart ass, but that's one of the first things my welding instructor taught me, along with those hand grenades that people light torches with, they were not allowed in his shop.
Awesome layout. I had a roller box with one drawer labeled english wrench, one drawer labeled metric wrench. The metric drawer had 1 crescent wrench in it. Got a few good laughs outta that one. The meteic wrenches were in a drawer below.
Funny you should mention that, not long after I took this photo of him he got a bit of a 'hot foot', he now wears his boots when he welds....
Using the word's decor and garage in the same sentence just seem's wrong to me. The best garages I think just sort of evolve. I never gave a moments thought to how I was going to decorate my garage. My only thought was where was I going to put my tools and equiptment first and then how to create as much storage as possible. If your garage is simply a place to store your car and hang out then I guess go ahead and decorate it .
Nice marmot Hey Bruce- in the other pic with the brown Buick wagon, why did someone put that dented white door on it? My ex-step-uncle-in-law used to replace dented fenders with other dented fenders and always confused the piss outta me. Just curious, I'm sure there's a reason.
Yeah that is what mine is too. But it is the only place in the house where i have any say and usually spend a good deal of time in there with the buddies.
