    Great build looking forward to the rest of photos during the build. Sorry but I'm disappointed in your engine selection but not everyone has a few 302 Jimmys stored in their garage. Would be a perfect spot for a 12 port cross flow head.

    I actually have a 270 jimmy so that might make it in the truck at some point, but I had a sbc that is rebuilt and ready to go.

  5. Ill be following along im workin on a 36 gmc.
    270 inline,3spd,58 chevy rear end and 6 lug wheels.
    Plans are :
    2.5 chop, 35 chevy grill,homemade bed and dropped axle.

  6. The build looks interesting , I'm kinda partial to that era of truck as I have had a 36 low cab since 78 or 79. Looks like you got some skills when it comes to metal work. One thing, I really don't think I would trust the center link / tie rod with the "Lightening holes", you might loose some linear strength with that drilled like that, that's one part that does not need weight reduction, please replace that with a solid tube, could turn ugly for someone. Mitch.
