  1. The current "Barnstormer" is a clone. It was built by, and is owned by Ron Johnson. The trailer is the restored original. Tommy verified it.

Found this and even though it's a bit newer than this thread is about had to post it.

The videoliner. Looked better than it handled. Was retired after a short time.

Its more of a representation than a clone, a bunch of libertys were taken in the build because of the way Ron wanted it. For awhile it had one of those cheezy vintage dragster driver heads on the brake handle

Reason being that the rear pods would fill up with dirt and rocks and drop out during the run

We have a GREAT TV Tommy history story posted by John Lee Williamson here:https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/streamliner-dragsters.1082497/page-3 post # 90

    Here is the whole thing

Daddys' Autobody was the one Ivo took his inspiration from, it was an early streamliner built in Burbank by high school kids and Daddys' Auto Body at their shop. A great one! Kent Fullers first chassis as well. It ran at San Fernando Drags on a regular basis, got me going on Nail Heads along with Tommy Ivo.

And more on the same car by ttwomotor same thread
