This drawing began life as a blue pencil sketch I inked and scanned. I drew it at bowling the other night and the guys kept telling me to draw Jessica Rabbit. I wanted to draw a Ford Custom but I compromised by adding a ‘Jessics-esque'
model. I colored it digitally for this drawing but will probably use parkers and pencils on the actual drawing.

This is based on a Custom in the southern CA area. I revised the top and other details from the actual car’s chopped convertible top. I think it is a Carson top on the 1:1.



How about my old ’39 Plymouth while I’m at it.

 

And then theres the Halloween thing next week so ghoulish repos seem like a thing...

It's been Tucker time for me painted horn caps for Rob Idas newest tucker build and ran out to his shop to paint the Bumper and intake tube while all the guys were thrashing on the car to get it ready for Sema , great experience to be apart of this wonderful build

Loving this one Jigger! I grew up right outside of Philly, PA and spent many hours on the back roads of Mid and South Jersey- used to hear stories about the Jersey Devil all the time.

The basic story is that you'd be driving along a dark road without street lights (MANY Jersey roads) and all of a sudden you'd see a pair of tail lights in your mirror, but instead of moving further away... they'd get closer- supposed to be the red eyes of the Jersey Devil.
