.???? Sorry to hear Fats has passed. Always liked his music/songs. But, if anyone had asked me, I would have said he died years ago. Don’t know why I thought that.

    RIP Fats.

My dad introduced me to Fats via "Walking to New Orleans" when I was a wee lad. Still my favorite.

    Rest in peace man.

  17. Sad to hear the news. Fats Domino always takes me back to my childhood. I remember many Saturday afternoons cruising around with my Dad in our old '69 Chevelle. We always listened to the oldies on KRZN AM. Sometimes while we were riding around the station would have a talk program or something other than music. My Dad would tell me to get the tapes. I'd turn around on the front seat and grab his 8-track tape case off the floor behind the seat. Most of the time, if he let me pick the tape, I'd choose Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, Elvis or Fats Domino. Great memories!
Vaya con Dios Fats, and thank you! E
