It is very different to see them in original condition but.........if you have owned one, I had a '38 mordor.......that couldn't get out of it's own way.....shook like the wheels were coming off......not a very well made car!.

This is my favorite racing photograph. Taken at the USAC Silver Crown race at Du Quoin, IL in 2016. Went to help a friend with his Silver Crown car and found out his team manager is Jack Hewitt and his driver is Jeff Swindell. Jack and Jody were talking about the old days and how this track has been good to them thru the years.

I love taking shots of my car in historical settings,note the year on the school

 

From my little book signing stint last weekend which was the car's public debut. Kind of like a ghost from the past.

 

I know where this photo was shot. That is a great show every one should go. Lot of cool cars like these. Thanks for posting.
