The new 2018 calendar came out and it looks like I made October. Kind of nice to see a traditional hot rod in there versus the more modern cars or street rods, Although there was also a sweet 36 five window coupe and a 52 Ford F3 that showed up in the calendar as well.
The calendar is put out by a local tire shop, that holds a really nice car show every summer.
    Their name is American tire.
I know I'm just blowing my own horn here, but it sure feels good![IMG][IMG]

Nice, and the car isn't bad either. Hope they gave you more than one so you will have one with the actual month on it during the year.

Ralph, Congratulations! If that's the same American Tire Warehouse that's in Anchorage, I will be calln Monday for a copy. I spend tens of thousands of $ there every year. They better give me a calendar. Bill

    Thanks,
Story behind the chrome shell. When I was building my car a friend told me about a grille that was available. Seems the owner had a 33 pickup that he was building and had it chromed. There was a fire in his shop, and the only thing that survived was the grille and fenders, as they were removed from the truck. That was 30 years before I ever saw the grille. My friend knew about it and I went with him when he was shopping for fenders.
At first I was I wasn't sure about it, but my friend said if I didn't buy it he would.
So I bought it thinking if I didn't like it, that he would certainly take it off my hands.
When I got it home, and placed it on my project, it didn't take long for me to learn to love it.

    Nice Ralph!
We stayed at the RV park in North Pole in 2004. Got the best Mongolian Beef I have ever eaten at the Chinese restaurant nearby. Plan to drive up there again in August 2018. Who knows, maybe we might bump into each other.

    Thanks all!

Stop on by Dave and I’ll give you the nickel tour of my shop.
What Was the name of the rv park? I get a lot of service calls to some of them during the summer(through work).
