Falcon day, Eh Mark? Wish I had done a Holden but the builder of the long lived Falcon platforms were also given the boot so this ’64 should serve as a memorial to both marquees. Ford and GM, you blew it.

Oh well, Pontiac and Oldsmobile will now have a couple new chess parters, eh???

This was a very quick sketch I rendered for a friend as we brainstormed some ideas for his Falcon. At some point, I will be doing a full rendering where all the details I slopped out here will be properly addressed...



Then there is this thing...
Dual Mercury V12 powered, Curtis P40 inspired, dry lakes speedster.
The blue print effect is the result of a 'happy accident'. I'd scanned one of my blue pencil sketches using a cheap Canon two-in-one. It doesn’t properly capture the color exposure so it came out like blue ballpoint on yellowed old card stock. It's a cool look and I may test and tweak it as well but this version is a result of inverting the scan’s color. Seems to fit the quick ‘concept’ sketch theme of the drawing

 

These next numbers are elements from a commission I’m developing for a HAMB member. The main subject vehicle, a traditional hot rod and an OT Gremlin X are not going to be posted here for now...

 

Great show again this week! Here's a '32 that's a work in progress... working to refine the firewall & cowl before moving back to fix the roughed in body lines and shapes
