Nearly 10 years ago, when I first hauled home this project, someone on this forum shared a road trip video with this song by Clutch. I always wanted to make a video using that song.... finally did.

  2. Holy Shit. Was hoping for nuts present, but damn ... that one has big King Kong hairy, slathery balls swinging !!

    421 ? Of course, nothing wrong with a 389, 400, 428, or 455 either. Love it.

LOL. I wanted a $421$ and prob would have done it if '61 was correct for it. Nobody wants to sell a 421. 389 just seemed like a yawn, although they can be built. 455 recipes were pretty frothy so that's what I went with :)

  22. Heh heh heh....Pontiac 455s don't need no steenking red lines...they make tons-o-torque right off idle.
And this helps answer the age old question.."Rocky, why did you choose a Pontiac engine for your 34 ford coupe?"

My whole life I've wanted a pristine 60 Bonneville. But now here lately I've decided 61s are just as beautiful. Maybe more.

Second only to my lifetime-long love of early Fords for me are '61 thru '63 Pontiacs. This being a bubble-top is just THAT MUCH better. I'm SO jealous! Beautiful car.

Tire companies must have sent Christmas cards to Pontiac in the '60s.

I've always been lusting after a 61 Ventura. Not many become available.

  30. Iv'e got a 66 421 to sell. Tripower as well. 5k miles on complete rebuild. Forged with 96 heads, Longbranch headers. Local guy offered 5k but I have more than that in the rebuild.
