Yep, I sold the Hemi. I had to sell a loss my wife's '27 Tudor Sedan, which was a rolling car with F & R independent suspention, and my Coupes 392 Hemi with Hilborn electronic injection (avatar pic), and three 4sd's with linkages for each, to pay for her med's, that insurance would not pay for, and still wont! She had a surgery that went bad. She is back in the hospital for it now, and was suppose to come home today. She is my best friend, and she comes first over anything! The block & heads, everything for it, were completely machined, and ready to assembled.

Last year I was finally able to go forward on my coupe. So I'm going with a 327 this time around.

Someone told me, I needed more variety in my life, then just Chevies. I said I have '27 ford, with a Chrysler hemi, and a Chevy transmission, ford 9" rear end, a '27 Tudor with Nissan ZX IRS, with a Buick turbo V6, drove a Trike with a VW motor, and was driving a '47 International KB2 with a 360, a '87 Mustang GT 5.0 convert, and a '93 Blazer at that time. And you say what?

I said I am a chevy guy, that does not mean that's all I drive.
Today I have my Coupe, a '91 S10, and wife has a '99 Blazer.

Sorry to hear about your wife's health issues, I went thru some myself in 2015 and 2016, luckily it was covered by Medicare and my supplement. You and your wife will be in my prayers.

 

Finished the chassis rebuild for my RPU. Some small touch ups on the body and that goes on the chassis. Im getting excited. JW

27 T Fordor sedan.

 

Are there any tricks to getting the front fenders on a 26/27 T looking right???
I note on some cars the front peaks look too straight out while on other cars they look more curved and follow better the shape of the wheel.
HemiT coupe's pic's a few posts back look like they fit well shape wise.

After finishing the rebuild on the chassis I have the body in the shop to fix some of the previous owners handy work, fit lap belts and just finish things off. JW

 

Some of the previous owners talented handy work, now removed and a patch made. Will have a separate piece of removable floor around the steering column and brake pedal. JW

Most men like a little T and A
While I prefer the T fenders, I'll admit it looks good.

What mechanicals are you running etc???

 

Diamond B four banger, stock A running gear, 3.27 rear end.

 

Still working on my wife's T. Getting really close to being driveable.

I'm going somewhat primitive, no lowering, channeling, etc. I have a 38 Ford front suspension and rear axle, a 26 T body, a Model A pick-up bed and a 327 Packard straight 8. I want to retain the wide 5 wheel pattern. I rounded up a set of hydraulic backing plates for the front axle and I recently picked up a 1940 Ford truck chassis that I can steal the rear axle and suspension from.
I decided to just put together a basic ladder frame similar to a Model TT frame. I have the front x-member in place. Now I need to decide where engine is going to set and rough in some engine mounts. After that I'll know where the body and bed need to mount which will let me know where to locate the rear suspension.
I think for the rear suspension I'll keep the wishbones. I think I'll convert them to a ball mount to mimic the front wishbone.
