  4. Back to the FUTURE. When I brought her home. Just hope I can live long enough. Excruciatingly slow for now. But some progress is better than no progress.

Ok, this is my Deuce overload in order.
#1. So my BB 131-1/2" stake truck looked way worse when I got it, it was going like gangbusters but I can assure all it was inexpensive when I bought it 20 yrs ago, (Got to get back on it).

#2. Is the company car, but I didn't stay focused on its build as a result of changing directions ;).

#3. So the company cars body goes on a 21 Chassis that was a restored and came thru Sheldon Bardin-Jim "Jake" Jacobs and I blew it together in a week.

Tom Fritz saw, photographed it and did 2 different oil on canvas of it=very kool!!! I don't own those though :(.

#4. Comes into being as a result of another HAMB classified ad.
It originally was the tub aka "RARE 32"
That was built by Dry Lakes-Bonneville Veteran Butch Carlton in late 60's-Early 70's with a true DuVal that came from Stan Betz and a pal of both of theirs.
Car presently owned by Mike Gamel since like 1982???
In the early millennium Mike decided on a new TCI chassis. The original was sold to another HAMBer named Mike who was a neighbor of his Pop's. Well Mike decided to sell it, I saw the ad, thought that I could use it for our 265b racer that ran from 45-49.

Decided that I couldn't cut it for a A roadster especially since The Tub was featured back in Nov 1993 SRM.

I had a cowl doors,Subrails and firewall so was going to make it a Deuce Tub like it was once, realized that maybe we'd do a sister car to 64d-64b.
So it became 64c as a roadster back 1/2 by Antique Auto Sheet Metal.
A flat Cad was planned for that chassis, but that has yet to make it between the rails and 64c lost its livery (lettering),
It's American Mags-not in pix,but gained a hood and steelies-presently bent spoke Kelsey's. And lower seat like in 64b.

#5. Is actually 64d, but now with a different body, engine-trans-driveshaft and a bunch of stuff to make her a runner. This is extremely kool for me as I had not got a chance to drive it ever since I chased the funky chassis down in West Denver back in 2002. Finally drove it in 2014....still not done, but it's in my driveway right next to her little sister. My 1st 32 part I bought for $40.00=a Firewall that's in 64b, 2nd was a grille shell that was on it till last year.
It's a wall hanger again for now. ;).

I know it's a long read but those are my deuces,(save for Mike G's.).
    Hope that you enjoyed it.

I built a 46 Ford sedan years ago and then traded it for a full fendered 32 Ford tudor sedan and rebuilt it as a high boy, then traded it for a channeled 32 three window. I eventually built a fresh chassis for the three window and put the body back on top of the frame and have since run it with and without fenders. Now I'm tempted to chop the top and put the hood back on and paint the wheels black and ditch the whitewalls.

I had a hand in these two.

If I can get a little play money put back I'd like to build a nice, simple glass 32 roadster for when the weather is nice. Probably be awhile though.

Did your cousin work for the studios along with Frank Brown? This car looks like a 32 that an old leadslinger Stan Beringhele, out of Culver City sold to someone, he had a 27 T Roadster that looked the same as this car in the 70’s.
He had this car I believe into the 80’s???? He built a Wescott bodied 32 Red Roadster after selling the body to someone and the Flathead V8 chassis to Ben Yumori.
He sold the 32 Roadster body to a guy I worked for BB04CA00-48FD-454B-904A-5CFE3CEA60A5.jpeg and followed up it with a very nice 32 3W Chopped and leaded Indian Red Coupe. 7355A6CE-0AD5-440B-BC2B-457BCC961A41.jpeg 4ADBF114-D298-40D4-9181-4DD7AD2B9FFD.jpeg
At the time I didn’t feel it, but now I know he was a flipper.
He followed the coupe up with one of the nicest 40 Deluxe Coupes and when that went down the road came another steel bodied 32 Roadster, (PGAN did a bitchen Garage Scene in an Early TRJ).
Somewhere I have pix of it completed, but if ya didn’t know it, you’d swear that it was the same Roadster he had in 86-87....

I thought that he was done, not so, into his late 70’s Stan built a flawless black Chopped 32 3W. Not sure if he had the interior done when it changed hands???? Sadly, I have no pix of the 40, and the last 32.
He past away several years ago......miss him and the rest of the OLDTIMERS WLA.
What a magic time to be into Hot Rods!!!!!
