Still working on the drivers door. Im resectioning the inner door to make it appear stock. I didnt like the way it lined up on the inside after taking out 4 inches.

I hated the way the inner door lined up after taking out 4 inches. I know most people don't spend much time here, it gets covered with a door panel. But I'm not most people. I want it strong like it was from the factory. 20170902_135937.jpg 20170902_161530.jpg

  8. It is the details that separate the builds and you my friend are a cut above! Great build! Hobo Jim

Starting to come together. 20170904_150924.jpg The pieces on the left took forever to make. All pieces are resectioned from pieces cut out of the door. 20170904_150909.jpg This is what's next... Ugh. 20170904_150916.jpg

  18. Please don't tell me you are going to finish the welds on the inside of the inner doors, also.
Seriously though, awesome work! I love this build thread.

I bet he does 'cause if he doesn't the doors will not meet the standard he has set for of the rest of the car. The bar is pretty doggoned high on this one.

How much mig wire have you used so far? Im kinda curious how much material it takes to do what you have done.

I laughed but you're so right. Just like anything, in moderation it's OK and in excess it's bad.

Your attention to detail is top notch, I'm nowhere as good as you but my philosophy is similar. I like to do stuff that has the observer asking if it came from the factory that way or "something is different I just can't put my finger on it" excellent work rytang.

  29. All I can say is it's a good thing Mr. Rytang is humble or there would be no living with him after all the (well deserved) compliments.

Man you got to be making somebody wealthy with all the grinding and sanding discs you are using! Nice job so far!
