Art & Inspiration -Vintage Under Construction Photos-

    Looking to see vintage under construction photos. Ill start with a neat B400 that was a local Boise car that I found on the web.

    Thank you soooo much ... I vividly remember the car sitting in front of the speed shop downtown when visiting grampa in Boise '58 & '59 when I was 12 or 13. At the time, it was Washington Blue, black wheels with baldies, 6.40 & 8.20 U.S. Royal Curbguards.
    Pretty sure it's still in the area - Mick will know.
     
  4. Paul's old B-400 has lived about 1 mile from me for the last 30 years or more. Belongs to one of my best friends.
    It's now black with a Gabe interior and very, very nice!

    Great stuff, that truck is awesome! People didn't have cameras attached to their hips the way they do now, so I think that makes these types of pictures fairly rare.

    MyChruch.jpg 28ar.jpg By 1959,I finely had my 28 roadster together enough to test drive,just primer an make shift EX,but running,took me tell early 60 to get some shiny paint on it,an that the rollbar was not a good idea. Still drive it!

    208custom, is that first picture from "This Old House" chops a car? In all of my 71 years I never saw a guy use a carpenters hand saw on a car!

    Ya know back in metal shop days we were taught never to use acetylene when tank is on side. That said the tanks in the pic may have been upright but laid down to prevent falling over a shearing the valves. Just sayin.
