  5. Wow - I am in love with that Plymouth Suburban! Great, great color and stance. Just a fantastic looking wagon.

  6. You and me both Gary,I totaled my dads '62 when I topped a hill and a propane truck was broke down in the dark with no lights sitting in the middle of the street.

I was on my way to play a gig and the wagon was loaded down with the bands equipment, needless to say a lot of equipment left the back of the wagon and moved forward,I took a guitar case to the back of my head and Brenda was hit by a amp head and she hit the metal dash loosing two teeth.

Not a pretty sight,I was cut and bruised and Brenda went to the hospital. HRP

Stopped at the local cruise in today. This was sitting in the swap meet area. I didn't see a for sale sign. image.jpg

This is my latest project, 1953 Ford Courier. It will make a sweet swap meet parts hauler.

    Hey JE,
One of our friends had the same style and almost the same color, Plymouth wagon back in 1962. That was a typical So Cal teenage wagon with a couple of surfboards on top and a few sticking out of the back. Yours is so much nicer, but for us as teenagers, a wagon was what got us to the beach, school, job and back. As far as the condition, that old Plymouth never looked as good as yours. Congrats on a nice looking wagon.

    Jnaki
But, that wagon was always a mainstay at the jetty in Seal Beach, the pre Dana Point Harbor surf breaks, and Doheny Beach. It even showed up at the surf movies all over So Cal.

Enloe, I'll bet that Olds Longroof at the HRR goes down the road.

I would like to add my long roof to this very sweet impressive list of long roofs. My 1974 Chev Caprice Estate my dad bought new and my dad left it to me when he passed away July 1993. The wagon now has just over 54,000 miles as of September 2017. 400 V-8 four barrel and loaded with all the usual toys. Just used for car shows and cruise nights the car is a dream to drive. Cheers. George

Why the heck can't EACH State have an area where you can pull completely off the highway and snap a picture of WELCOME TO THAT STATE ?

He is looking for another Edsel front end for a gasser he is starting to build.

  24. Gorgeous wagon. Do you have a pic of the trailer it is towing? There is a vintage camper thread on here, too, where you could post that. Or a pic showing both on this thread.

    enloe,

I've read many of your posts and will attest that you're a pretty savvy guy. But please inform your friend that "Edsel gasser" is an oxymoron.

I have several wagons but going to turn loose of this one. It was a highly option 327 4barrel dual exhaust automatic AC car. All the AC stuff is still there the 327 is gone however. It’s tagged in titled in my name
