  1. There was a big turn out for the Vintage Campers & a few old trucks showed up also,I'm sure next year there will be more old cars and trucks, hopefully we can hook up the wagon to our old Shasta for the next trip to Pine Mountain.

  5. This is probably the most unique vintage camper I have ever seen.

I was told this is one of three built and the only one that has been restored,it's a 1947 Great Western.

That Great Western is wild, the tin work is killer. Love the "speed lines" behind the windows. My brother is in the business, he restores vintage trailers, I'll have to see if he's ever heard of them.
I've been to a couple vintage trailer rallys with my brother, always a few hot rodders or at least old car folks at them.

  15. Good pictures, Danny. Looks like a fun time.

  17. This camper had me wondering what it was and after I caught up with the owners I was told it's a Sprite Caravan and built in 1969 in the UK.

Danny, I love the rear view on the Great Western trailer- kinda reminds me of the tailgunner's position on a B 17!

  28. Ron,do it sooner than later while your son is still young enough to want to do it with you.

John,I talked to a lot of people and the majority of guys I talked to are hot rodders or own some type of classic cars,Chuck that was beside us has a 1956 Ranch Wagon and Greg that was behind us has a 1936 Ford Cabriolet hot rod.

I also ran into a Hamber while I was there and saw a Greasy Hub Cap CC plaque on a Chevy Station wagon but never caught up with him. HRP
