I should know this one but forget the owner from Texas. Look like he is running altered with no front clip

I always liked the stock top version better.

    Bad decisions make good stories.

  16. I bought the Pat Ertel bio book on Ohio George at the Calif Hot Rod Reunion this weekend. Very good book, tells a lot about George I didn't know. Like that he worked for the Feds when they were exploding nukes in the Arizona desert in the 50s and he would watch the explosion then go into ground zero in a lead suit to collect data. He is checked for radiation poisoning regularly to this day.

A local guy Tom Slatery built this Willys and I heard he has health issues and sold it. Tom would put on a cruise in Port Ewen every Friday night out of his own pocket. Supported and honored the veterans also. Get well Tom.

I also think Willys and Anglias look better unchopped. They're so cute and tiny as is.

  19. You got that right. Mine is full height and I still hit my head on the oak x-member that is just above my head in the roof. And NEVER put diseased, scummy, scabby, Anglias in the same sentence. With Willys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wowsers willys36. My '33 ('36) shares the same stable as my '49 brand "A" and my son's '48 brand "A". So far, they're getting along good together.

I guess I better not post pics of the brand "A"s on this thread.

All of them are unchopped by the way.

  24. Australian 35-36 from the State of Victoria. Only the front sheet metal and mechanicals are the same. Not the wipers are on the cowl. JW
