A couple things that my car has that are frowned upon as far as true nostalgia goes are; modern wheels on the rear (I do have steelies I can put on) and lettering is vinyl (sorry not changing that). Thanks Derrick

Put a 572 B.B. with a 6-71 on my Christmas list, then I could break stuff with the Big Dogs.

But there is no Santa Clauseo_O so gonna build a 302

At the Meltdown on Sunday Randall Bowman ( Dragnasty) asked how far I lived from Waukesha WI,
( about 100 miles ) then gave me the $100.00 gift certificate to Kilpatrick Engine and Transmission that he won at the Meltdown and told me to use it.

    Thanks Randall:cool:

So reality is that my next build is a 302 s.b.c., I wanted to build one since the early 70s and a few years ago
picked up 63 .040 over 327 small journal block and then a machined 283 crank.
The gift certificate from Randall pushed me over the edge to help start the build.
With a few hundred more Kilpatrick cleaned, decked, then honed the block with a torque plate.
Now I gotta call Ric about pistons.

Thanked Kilpatrick Engine and Transmission for supporting the Meltdown Drags.

  19. Are you saying that I might actually need to use the whole loud pedal to drive around you at next year's MD??

    :D

Now if you are referring to a certain tall, hokey pokey kinda guy, well I dunno... he musta been practicing or something cause I seen some pretty respectable RT's from him lately...

If y'all get some extra time from your builds for the Meltdown. Check out Big Daddy's Skull Garage this week. Dub G and I's Ranchero made it into their 500th video.
