I just use rustoleum for frame and suspension.
Some people love POR 15 but I haven't had luck with it.

That turquoise color on the parts car would look sweet on the wagon with a white roof.
    Gotta love a '62!

Drove a 62 wagon while I was going to college in Colorado. It was a 283 power glide car. Could not kill that car. It was great.

Finally getting back on my project.,life happens I guess. Anyways, pretty much have all the parts off the parts car that I'm going to need for a while. Now, getting the wagon back into the shop may be a bigger project since we now have snow in the Northland!

Here's the wagon back in the shop ready for the "new" half a fire wall.

Learned to drive in an old 53 Ford wagon. (Can't remember what style but it had 2 doors....unlike your!! J/K)
You gonna fill the holes and humps on that firewall, right? Sure hope you lower the wagon as much as reasonable. Two tone wagons really look slick IMHO. Big fat tarz, naturally....just no 20's!(maybe tub the rear?!)
Can you "cam-up" an LS engine?! Carb'ed not FI Maybe a 5 speed?! Can the wife "row"?! (better question is....WILL she row?!)
Nice sound system and AC should keep the troopz happy!!
    I'm lik'en it already,

I know what you are thinking: "this dude's slow!" aaaand you would be right. Three young kids will do that to a project I guess. But, progress is progress even if it's a snail's pace!
