So lets play spot the Aussie. I see two Aussies in that photo plus a couple of others I know as well.

Great photo coverage Mark! Really appreciate the update on the Eye Glass rack I filled with 1960's issues of Hot Rod magazines, sold them all, good to see it had a third life as a bench. Knew Dennis would sell the rocking horse. Reason for leaving them? This 1934 MG N Type is inside the enclosed trailer in my driveway, and we ran out of room for the rack & horse. Robert and I will deliver it Sunday to a member of the HAMB family. [IMG] My find of the meet was this Type 57 Bugatti oil sump, hope to turn it into a pickup or van:rolleyes:. But the real question is who would leave a swap meet like this to go to a wedding?? I don't get it??

The question is why don't you stick around for Saturday? It's gorgeous and we are open for business!

I was there on Wednesday & logged about 5 miles & about 16,000 steps. Last year I did 37,000 steps & about 12 miles, but I broke my one toe last week & had to walk with it taped to the big toe & the front of my sneaker cut out. Timing is everything. When I broke the toe, the first thing I thought about was Hershey & golf. At 70, I'm thinking maybe one of those little electric buggies to get around in next year, just to cover more territory. Maybe I could incorporate the Firedome fins into it (see the first pic below)? I was mainly looking for gauges, but found very little. I did find some really great stuff, like an original Cord panel with all the gauges intact, plus a neat S/W Mercury Outboard 8K mechanical tach, but both were full blown retail. Both of those weren't even in the negotiating realm. Anyway, it was a beautiful day, despite my gimpy condition. I talked to a lot of interesting people....had one of my HAMB shirts on, but didn't get flagged down by anyone. BTW, check out the blower pic...$12,500 price tag on it. That styrofoam cup next to it was for dollar bills..a dollar a spin..yuk-yuk.

Is that a S.C.O.T. blower? Right in the price range if it is.

I'm not sure, Greg, but I actually took that pic to show to my neighbor. Back in the day, he told me he was running a flattie with what was probably a S.C.O.T. blower. When he got wiped up by a new Chevy 265 small block, he got pissed & literally scrapped the blower or sold the whole works for a couple of bucks. How times have changed.

I went in the mid 90s. Someone told me if you walked the whole deal its 17 miles, I did it twice ! I bought a 57 Cushman Eagle there. paid too much but it was Hershey. Did they have the race cars in the high school track still ? They had to make a lap to be entered

  18. Security is tight at Hershey. She was lucky she didn't get arrested for stealing a pair of Model A headlights!:D

Great day today, will post pics later. Really bugs me that so many vendors pull out before Saturday morning. Great as it is, it would be so much better if folks honored their commitments. The crowds were goo. we got there before 10 and had to park in the last row of the parking lot before they closed it. Shame if you left early without a wedding scheduled.

First time in 48 years I didn't stay for the show, but the swap meet and friends I see just once a year made up for it. Bob

It's called a Valkerie. Kind of looks like a modern Brewster.

  30. 5 window is my friend who shares my spot. Still for sale. We should have put it in the car chorale. Can make you a sweet deal on it if interested.
